Pre-assembled, ready-to-use NT modules are currently not available commercially. However, the CC3D Atom can easily be used as a NT Imu module, and may be the best choice currently, if DIY is not an option.

CC3D Atom

The Open Pilot CC3D Atom can be used as NT imu module, when flashed with the respective NT firmware. With the pin headers stripped off, it is also relatively small. The Mini CC3D is even smaller, without the need of hardware modifications. Unfortunately it can be first-time flashed only via SWD, i.e. a SWD programmer is needed in addition to convert it to a NT module.

Both boards are available cheaply from various Asian sources, and of course also at somewhat higher prices in many "regular" shops.

Cables and Connectors

Unfortunately I don't know about a good, i.e reasonably priced and readily available, source of suitable pre-configured cables with plugs. The 1 mm JST has however become kind of a standard and is used for many electronics in the RC world, such as flight controllers, gimbal controllers, etc., which gives options.

Some options:

  • ReadyToFlyQuads/witespy: [1]. Eexplore the shop carefully and study the various options for configuration which are offered, with the right clicks it offers actually some good deals
  • Viacopter: [2]
  • Goodluckbuy: [3]. The silicon wires are not as flexible as for other imu module wires, but in lack of better options OK. Quite expensive.
  • Flyduino: [4]
